First: Jack. I find myself continually amazed at who this little boy is and get fixated in the moment, quickly forgetting the many phases he's gone through. Turning 4 years old today, our Jack is packed full of delight for his sister Neyla, reading, singing, matchbox cars, acting out interests and fears though his favorite stuffed animals Doggie and Dolly, and flopping on anything soft – sofas, pillows, rugs, Big Bear (another beloved stuffed friend), etc. The following is a chronology of Jack from the time of my last post through this fall.

A Glance Back
Sharing life with young children and seeing their constant physical change has drastically shifted my perspective on time… life feels fast. While I’m enjoying it along the way, I’ve failed to adequately document which has left me feeling like the last few years’ savory moments are lost. In a recent scroll through old posts and pictures, I had a burst of motivation to try to recapture some of our family’s recent past. Marking life's highlights with a post helps me create a tangible memory and sorts the fast blur of life.
