Every month Dave takes a 2 day trip to Denver for work. These trips make it possible for Dave to work from home as their purpose is face time with his bosses and management of miscellaneous office tasks. We're loving our current set up with both of us at home and thankful these trips help make this possible. This month Jack and I joined Dave in Denver as we've be wanting to visit Denver friends. It was convenient too as I was subpoenaed to testify in a trial against an old supervisor who sadly embezzled significant monies through forgery and other measures from a small non-profit working to support child victims of abuse. After my testimony was complete, we enjoyed several days in Denver. We stayed with friends Phil and Gail. Phil is pastor of The Bridge, a church plant we attended that is focused on discussion, community, and service/social justice (

On Dave's off hours, we were able to reconnect with several Denver friends which was great! We also took in several Denver favorites including Wash Park. A few pictures of Dave with Jack, being the amazing father that he is.
I'm so bummed I didn't get to see you guys when you were in town! I was actually in Chicago for a baby shower for my sister! Jack is such a CUTIE! Hope you guys are loving KC!
